I do tend to agree. My females are more active than the
males and much more agressive eaters. This may be partly due to the fact
that they are younger and because they are female have greater nutritional
needs. They will always be one of my favorite geckos.

Jim, have you noticed a complete difference in behavioural traits between
the males and females?
I've about 21 keyserlingii over here and I find the females are always the
ones (even when housed alone.. actually all of my keyserlingii except two
hatchlings are now housed alone) to dig tunnels everywhere and rearrange the
sand in their terrariums. They're also the ones who are usually out and about,
at the front glass and are much more interactive (follow you around, watch
everything you are doing, beg for food, more enthusiastic while hunting etc).
While the males seem to just lay back in their dens and wait till food comes
their way for the majority of the time.
