Ales has converted the xgsch2pcb repository to git, and its on-line at:
http://git.gpleda.org/?p=xgsch2pcb.git;a=summary

You can clone it with:
  git clone git://git.gpleda.org/xgsch2pcb.git

Or for developers with write access:
  git clone ssh://git.gpleda.org/home/git/xgsch2pcb

Current status:
  Main functionality works
Error handling for anything unexpected - needs work
User interface - mostly there, but needs Gnome HIG tweaks

Missing (amongst many other things):
Ability to set search paths for footprints and symbols
Ability to determine if PCB is up-to-date by non mtime method
Ability to raise a PCB window over it's own
Checks to ensure only one copy of the schematic is opened at once

In progress:
User-interface for providing template projects (Requires gtk-2.10.x)
