I'd hate to make 2.6 be the minimum (even though I think PCB currently
needs it) unless we really really need it. Partly because 2.4 is what I
have installed on all the systems where I do any geda development work.
Besides there are some systems I use where a library like gtk gets
updated very infrequently.
