I first got started with SQL that way: I was watching over the shoulder of someone who was using a GUI to do some changes in a database. When this GUI did something, it would display the underlying SQL it issued to the database server. This made novice-level learning of SQL pretty much trivial. I'm sure this forms some kind of argument in this discussion, but I'm not sure in which direction. :-) /~\ The ASCII Mouse \ / Ribbon Campaign X Against HTML mo...@rodents-montreal.org / \ Email! 7D C8 61 52 5D E7 2D 39 4E F1 31 3E E8 B3 27 4B _______________________________________________ geda-user mailing list geda-user@moria.seul.org http://www.seul.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/geda-user
