Vladimir: Thanks for the patch. I do not have time just now, but I will apply it soon and report the results. After my last post, I discovered why geeqie was not locking up. It only happens with the first session you start and I accidentally already had an iconified session of geeqie running, so the subsequent sessions I started were not the first! I'll apply the patch and then see what happens.
