Ruby does work in FS mode, but I have not used it to boot up a system. Instead, I've been using atomic mode to boot and create a checkpoint, then I load that checkpoint with Ruby enabled. In particular for Parsec, I've been using the Texas disk image to take a checkpoint at the beginning of the ROI.
Pritha, unfortunately I don't have a good idea of the problem you are encountering based on the information you've provided so far. It could be a PIO request or a DMA request is not being routed correctly, but that is just a guess.
