:) Well, yeah. Like I said, they do have higher prices on _some_ items. I was able to buy a 3.5" FDD for less than ordering it on-line. I guess now that I'm getting a steady paycheck, I've forgotten how expensive some hardware is. Mat, you caught me forgetting my roots. :) My apologies to geeks on a tight budget.
Let me amend my earlier comments about Computer Heaven: If you need an experienced local hardware dealer to help you with computer fixes and upgrades and you are willing to pay the higher prices vs. doing it yourself and buying parts on Ebay, Computer Heaven is a good choice. I did say that the parts I bought were for the company where I work, so the prices are seen as being relatively good. Personally, I've preferred to scrounge around on Ebay for used hardware and build my own machines from parts I find there. The nice thing about Computer Heaven is that they have at least a 7 day return policy for used parts, so if you've been burned on Ebay, it's a good alternative.
