Yes they do care. The problem is that they don't care enough to look further than Microsoft's billion dollar advert budget. That would be OK, if the rest of us who know better were not afraid to tell people that no amount of patching, firewalling, band-aid or duct tape will overcome Microsoft's design flaws. You have to educate people when their computers are so loaded with spyware, viruses and other comercial cruft that they don't work. They might even go for the fix if it were redily available at a lower cost than the next M$ shiny thing. I've got nothing better to do, so I'm going to do just that. I may get to eat my words, but I'm going to have fun doing it.
