Has anyone setup or used Asterisk (http://www.asterisk.org/) before? It's a full-fledged open source PBX and runs on linux. I don't have a landline at home, so was thinking about getting an FXO PCI card for the pc at work, and a cheapo VoIP phone for home. Setup asterisk and a VPN to the house, and i'll have a landline at home. I think it'd be a neat project and wondered if anyone else has done anything similar.
