Thanks everyone (Except Dustin). I have passed the info along. The student knows the folder name and some file names and hopefully that should help.
I think the student is getting estimates now with Kroll and Drivesavers. I will update if I hear back. I did not realize that with crash plan you can back up to other crash plan clients for free. Also, it looks like you can use your own encryption keys.
