In the idea that 'something is better than nothing,' I took Ken's page for Incubator and tweaked it for commons.
So, see: http://commons.apache.org/
People with commons group access should be able to commit and update daedalus's directory.
I totally believe we should investigate Forrest, but that's going to take some time to build a site there with real content.
I'm willing to set up a basic site with Forrest as I'm doing with Incubator, so you can all start committing in XML format.
Just one question: where would we put the xml sources, and where the results?
As an aside, just how easy is it to modify Forrest content? I'd hope it is as easy as anakia.
Basically the same.
As a quick note, we need to enable anoncvs access to commons-site so that we can checkout the repos on daedalus's /www/commons.apache.org. Can Ken (or Greg) do that, or do we need to send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] That definitely falls outside of my comfort level. -- justin
