When I've seen errors like those, the root cause has always been an unreliable filesystem. This could be due to a filesystem bug, but that is very rare. More likely it is a failing disk or a bad cable. So I would make an effort to track that down and resolve it before proceeding.
The next step is to update the license key. Until you have done that, the server won't allow any updates. The NetVisn_EFBIProd has probably lost data. Those XDMP-READ errors in TreeData mean that some fragments won't be recoverable. But if the filesystem corruption isn't too bad, a forced reindex might recover some of the data. Again, I would not try that until the underlying storage problem has been fixed, and the filesystem has been repaired. At that point if reindexing doesn't sound attractive and you would rather start over, you could clear that forest in the admin UI. That will delete all the suspect forest data, without touching the server configuration. Deleting F:\Program Files\MarkLogic\Data is more drastic, and will also delete the server configuration. If you do that, be sure that you have a backup copy of any configuration data you want, and the new license key. -- Mike On 7 May 2012, at 12:09 , Geert Josten wrote: > Hi Gary, > > If you have support, you can contact [email protected] to discuss best > solution for the corrupt index files.
