Hello Community, The big news this month was the release of MarkLogic 8.0-4, as announced November 25th. I highlighted the features in that announcement -- check the Release Notes<https://docs.marklogic.com/guide/relnotes/chap3#id_73872> and the Bug Fix Report<https://help.marklogic.com/Bugtrack/List> for more details. Related to that release, there are some new materials on DMC.
DMC There are two new tutorials. In JSearch in 5 Minutes<http://developer.marklogic.com/learn/jsearch-in-5-minutes>, Aries Yuwono provides a quick introduction to the new Server-side JavaScript search library. The Server-side JavaScript Getting Started<http://developer.marklogic.com/learn/sjs/concepts> is a rewriting of some previous material into a more readable, multi-page tutorial. November also saw a couple blog posts: Jen Breese-Kauth described the MarkLogic-Node plugin for the Slush generator<https://developer.marklogic.com/blog/slush-marklogic-node> (good for a quick-start on ANEML (Angular/Node/Express/MarkLogic) projects). Mike Wooldridge continued his series of exploring MarkLogic features, this time with Making New Connections with MarkLogic Semantics<https://developer.marklogic.com/blog/making-new-connections-ml-semantics>. MLU MarkLogic University's On Demand videos are a great way to pick up some knowledge over a short break from your regular work. MLU has begun a couple On Demand series to provide more depth on some topics, like Data Modeling and Using the Node.js Client API. The second Node.js course (Inserts and Reads) was released last month.
