If you had problems on initialization then you should delete the CloudFormation stack and start from scratch. Then look in the various error logs to get further CloudFormation event logs AutoScaling event logs If the system comes up enough to respond to http then ssh into the system and look in /var/log/messages /var/log/cfn* /var/log/cloud* /var/log/mlcmd /var/opt/MarkLogic/ErrorLog.txt That should get your much further. In /MarkLogic/security.xqy on line 5338 In sec:check-admin() In /MarkLogic/Admin/lib/status-check.xqy on line 16 In status-check() In / on line 6 Fairly obvious we've missed/messed up something.
