Hi Abishek,

My suggestion is to start with taking a look at the Take The Red Pill
presentation from MarkLogic World,
http://mlwonline.marklogic.com/details.xqy?id=25785, it iwll give you a good
overview of the difference of modeling data in MarkLogic compared to a RDBMS
and how diffrent features can help.

Also the Beyond the RDBMS: Work with relational data in MarkLogic presentation,
http://mlwonline.marklogic.com/details.xqy?id=25972, will give some good
pointers.

Then there is a lot of material around this at http://developer.marklogic.com,
check out the tutorial section, http://developer.marklogic.com/learn, and the
on demand training http://mlu.marklogic.com/ondemand/.

Hope it will get you started!

Kind regards,
Mats

Subject: [MarkLogic Dev General] Model Employee-Department relationship into
marklogic, Running Join queries. #CGO#

Hi Forks,

I am a newbie to marklogic, I just want to migrate all my RDBMS data into
marklogic.
If anyone can just share with me the idea how to model simple
Employee-Department
Relationship in Marklogic and run join query . Do we need triples to achieve
this ? If yes a simple example will do.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks and Regards,
