   <http://www.jsoftware.com/papers/DFSP.htm>,* 1960-08-29, is a
significant historical paper. It is the first known publication of the APL
   ideas.
   - Summer 1966: APL was named.

   - 1966-11-27 15.53.58 (GMT-7) *APL\360* was born.

   - I doubt that SHARP APL became available at IPSA in 1966. (See
   previous item.)
   - 666 box became available in 1972 and not 1971. See
   http://www.jsoftware.com/papers/APLQA.htm#666box .
   - 1973-08: first use of a portable computer by a passenger on an
airliner. It happens to be an APL computer.

   - 1979-10-29: Kenneth E. Iverson wins Turing Award for the development
   of APL. http://www.jsoftware.com/papers/tot.htm
