Yes, crypto.cat looks very versatile. Who provides the server? In the case
of my apps, google.com provides the server. Does crypto.cat provide the
server? It looks like at most 10 people can be in a single chat. Is that Ok?

It seems like a problem with my apps and with crypto.cat is that like irc,
people have to be "logged in" at the time the chat is made, unlike with
forums and tweets where the messages are posted for whenever someone sees
them. One advantage my apps have is that at least the person who sets up
the system -- the confidant -- gets emails, while the question asker must
look for replies at a weblink only s/he knows.

I personally have not found irc interactions to be satisfying unless they
are scheduled at a particular time. So that is a disadvantage of
crypto.catfor me.

What do others think.

Thanks, Raul,
