I would say: no.

Since I can in fact overcome this limitation relatively trivially:

  the ongoing kvetching is, to me, moot.

Thus  minus - , divide %, less -. , element e. and by the way Matrix
divide % have the
conventional arguments and differ from the J rule:
"x are the control information - y are the data" as expressed in JfC.


is that actually a J rule?  For asymmetric functors?

.... at least those that are in fact asymmetric as to "control" and "data"

But so far I have not seen the argument, why the sort  /: and \: behave
different.
When writing code I quite often make mistakes here, so a good argument
would help to remember.
