Hello All,
I get at random times, at boot, 2 requesters which state: "SRAM TEST FAIL" and a
subsequent "Selftest failed for unit 0 MAC
xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx". The Genesis software will then fail to load and connect to the
network.
I usually clear up the problem by turning off the computer for 2
minutes and then back on. Then everything works OK. If I try shorter
OFF/ON sequence (say 10 seconds) the problem usally persists.
Sometimes I can get it to boot up without problems on a warm reboot,
but not always.
I was wondering if others have the same problem with their AriandneII,
if so, have you found a solution, or just live with the problem?
I have Genesis v1.0 - special OEM version for VillageTronic
I use the RJ45 connector patched to a Hub which in turn is patched to a
Cable Modem.
Any help would be appreciated... I am getting tired of rebooting my
reboots. ;-)
