Hi, I wanted to let you know of a potential bug. When I attempt to upload a .bed file that is compressed with gzip, it starts loading, but then hangs. The interesting thing is that if I wait about 15 minutes, and then close the window and go back to the UCSC genome browser website, I can see the uploaded file under the custom tracks. I am attempting to upload a .gz file that is ~28 MB and when it is uncompressed it is ~870 MB. I am using Mac OS X Lion and tried to upload via Safari 5.1 and Firefox 6.0 and have the same problem. Using a Windows 7 emulator (VMWare Fusion) , it also happens using Internet Explorer. I also tried compressing the file using a different method (.bz2) but also had the same problem. Thank you for any help you can give me.
