Is a mere user allowed to suggest that maybe gcc was not the best
benchmark package to have chosen? The reason - because the build time
depends very much on the options and varies between versions. For
example, the gcj USE flag adds a considerable time to the build
(building the java support libraries). Also, 3.3.4 builds a lot faster
than 3.4.3 as the latter also builds the hardened variants.
