Arguing the points aren't the issue.  I just have a strong suspicion
that the official requirement is an anti-Ciaranm measure, particularly
considering that there is a huge contingent of people who would rather
die in a fire than let him back onto the developer team in order to make
paludis official.

I don't foresee the same issue with you and pkgcore, since these same
folks would likely be glad to take you back in in order to make it an
official gentoo project.  You only left the project initially *because*
of Ciaran, you weren't kicked out.

Just don't pretend that what I have stated isn't an issue.  Otherwise,
you are being naive (or pretending).
