We went years with one developer refusing to fix tinderbox bugs because
the build logs were hosted on AWS instead of bugzilla.

These are Gentoo Linux developers. People who chose a corner case
operating system and then chose a corner case distribution of it and
then became a corner case of its userbase. As a result, you're going to
see some corner-case moral and technical principles. Telling someone
that those principles aren't an excuse just isn't going to get them to
help you any faster.
