yeah my system is identical to yours, freshy98, with exception to your extra 512M memory and the fact that I have the latest prom. If you do decide to upgrade the prom then good luck, the jumper you have to switch is under the power supply; that was NOT fun to get switched. Also, it was the development-sources kernel that I had on there back when I had gentoo on it before, but that is obviously not an option anymore.
Actually, do you still have the kernel source directory for the development-sources-2.6.6 kernel. If so, is there any way you could tar and bzip2 that directory and let me somehow get it from you? Unless anyone knows of a way to get this source along with the patches it had at the time of its demise? I just want this server up and running stable...if I have to go to 2.4 then I guess I will, but I'd rather not.
