Your machine is trying to get your IP through a DHCP connection. You
are connecting your computer into a router, so does your ROUTER
assign IP's with DHCP?

If not, then you need to set up your gateway in /etc/conf.d/net and
then restarting your eth0 by doing /etc/init.d/net.eth0 start (or
restart). You can also set up eth0 with a DHCP setup in the same file.
