There are various boot options on the live CD. I mus admit that I am
vbery surprised, since I have tried out every single liveCD on various
computers and had no problem whatsoever. If you're really in trouble :
use the 'nofb' kernel, and pass it the 'nodetect' option, it will not
detect your mouse then (whoch does not prevent you from installing gpm
later on).
