No problem, did that help or are you still having the issue?

If you are, why don't you post some of the recent merges you've done, someone 
might notice something thats been problematic.  For instance, I'm still a 
little unstable on the box I compiled KDE 3.1.4 with gcc 3.3.(1?) on.

I'd thought of the heat issue someone else mentioned, but it doesn't seem to 
fit to me.  Sounds like you've been using [EMAIL PROTECTED] for a long time, I'd have 
expected you to have "some" lockups before "constant" lockups if this was a 
heat issue.  <shrug>

Just to be paranoid though, you could buy one of those small desk fans (6 -8" 
or so) and set it behind the computer so the fan is pulling hot air away from 
the back fan units and out into the room.  You'd be suprised at the 
differance this air flow improvement can make.
