I updated my GENTOO/Linux laptop to gentoo-dev-sources-2.6.0 -- and am quite happy with it.
Except for one thing: The "vga=791" boot parameter that I used with the 2.4 kernel series to have a 1024x768 console during boot no longer works. If I pass it to the kernel I get a blank screen until gdm has been started. Any idea on what the correct parameter would be?
