Nope, HT is entirely CPU, and turn off and onable via the BIOS. I have another dual xeon box here, but it has to run win2k for some specialist software. A test run took 1 hour 47 minutes with HT, 1 hour 33 without. Whenever I'm in the datacentre I can hear the Suse webserver, and it's new sibling laughing at the traffic. Traffic which 2 Raq3's coped with nicely. - -- Mike Williams -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFAHjWPInuLMrk7bIwRAgaxAJ9pxH18tpxZNi2AZexxtb3nKnTFnQCfYdHm 8ckTFaTFMh5Q0Nq43lmuglA= =5L/l -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
