Hi there,

did anyone else encounter this problem:

While emerging kdebase-3.2.0.ebuild, I get the following errors:

during config, there is an error message :
--8<--cut
checking linux/raw.h usability... no
checking linux/raw.h presence... yes
configure: WARNING: linux/raw.h: present but cannot be compiled
configure: WARNING: linux/raw.h: check for missing prerequisite headers?
configure: WARNING: linux/raw.h: proceeding with the preprocessor's result
configure: WARNING: ## ------------------------------------ ##
configure: WARNING: ## Report this to [EMAIL PROTECTED] ##
configure: WARNING: ## ------------------------------------ ##
checking for linux/raw.h... yes
checking sys/raw.h usability... yes
--8=--cut

The compile later ends with an error message

--8<--cut

--8=--cut

I have no idea if the two problems are related. Also tried this with the
ebuild mentioned in Bugzilla Bug 40326, same result.

Now comes the funny part: If I unpack the source from /usr/portage/distfiles
into a user directory, configure it with the configure options from
config.log under /var/temp/portage/... and start make manually, it compiles
without problem.

I had the same problem with kdeadmin and kdebindings in 3.2.0rc1, but could
not figure out what happened.

Here is the portage config:

Any hints how I should proceed? Should I file a bug report against the
ebuild? Also would it make sense to try to get it to work with ebuild?

TIA
        Jerry
