The box seems more stable since passing acpi=off to the kernel. I had
used the 2.4.x syntax (noacpi) which doesn't seem to work with 2.6
kernels.
My other beef with the 5336 driver is that it won't build for the
2.4.20 kernel so in order to use my old kernel, I need to downgrade
the drivers to get X up. Of course, that means I need to change back
to run 2.6.1. Will 5336 from nvidia (as opposed to the ebuild) run on
2.4.x kernels?
