if there is a /dev entry in your /etc/fstab, then it must have devtmpfs as its fs type. Most installations would not have such an entry in /etc/fstab - but better check to be safe.
I've heard this many times, but can anyone explain just *when* you would want or need a /dev entry in your fstab?
