Hi all, I am new on this list (and new of Gentoo). I have some doubts on the setting of the flag USE. I understood its features but I do not know WHEN use them. Some questions: 1 - Is it mandatory to set the Flag USE? 2 - If not, should I verify which flags to use for each package I want to install (using the --pretend and --verbose options of emerge) and then set USE accordingly?
