Ok, I just noticed that you're talking about 2.6.23-r5, which seems to imply you're using gentoo-sources. In this case, what I said before is still true, but FB_VESA also depends on X86, which should be enabled anyway, since it's part of defconfig. -- gentoo-user@lists.gentoo.org mailing list
