Cinder: your udev rules indicates that a e1000 card was previously recognised - this is surely the card installed in your newer board. Can you show the results of `modprobe -v e1000` please?

Also, there's no need to use pastebin when posting to this list. Short sections of console output can be pasted into the body of the email; IMO the preferable way for posting longer configurations (e.g. your kernel configuration) is as plain text attachment.
