I agree with Mohammed that 3D display is rapidly becoming the standard for
data illustration. Addition of some basic 3D display capability to
Oasis/Montaj would be very desirable.
However, I personally feel that the primary focus on Oasis improvement
should be development of better documentation, release of 4.3 on unix,
cleaning up of internal inconsistencies, and work to make it easier for
casual programmers to develop GXs.
That said, some 3D capability would certainly make for flashier demos
and would probably assist in expanding the user base.
