Ciao Robert, disclaimer 1, I work for another company that does sell services around geoserver, which is geosolutions. disclaimer 2, I have never played with the suite myself.
If you need GeoServer and Postgis you can get them separately and install them as you wish, at least this is what we do for our clients anyway.
