Hi all, so it seems time we do the PMC refresh, with Martin stepping down we are not enough anymore for voting I fear.
What about trying to rebuild it from scratch? The http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOT/4+Project+Management+Committee page does not say how many members are needed, but yet, I would say, six? What about, first, we get a list of people ready to be part of the PMC, and then each one of us makes a list of the people we would like to see in the PMC (this would be voting). After that we also need to make some module maintainership reassignment, and eventually cleanup modules that haven't been maintained in a long time and for which nobody expresses any short term interest. The modules would not be lost anyways, the version control would still allow resurrecting them.
