Agreed there are many excellent options; if possible I would like to just use the nomination process. Indeed I feel we have fallen behind in recognizing the leaders of the community; we also have a process for removing PMC members that fail to vote. >> Sorting out module maintainers for the newly orphaned modules is a PMC >> responsibility; I would be happy to have an IRC breakout session and >> go over what needs to be done. > We can chat about this anytime, but since we're not making the weekly > meeting anymore, what about doing it on the ml instead? > We need a table of modules that are unmtained and need a new > maintainer, and a table of modules that are unsupported and are > candidate for cleanup. Sounds good; I will be able to assist in the sorting later in the week; and can also help out with the work on the weekend.
