Hi all,
just a quick heads up for a new user contributed feature: rotated
map rendering support.

http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOT-2534

Someone said it was not possible, that the StreamingRenderer architecture was not appropriate and instead... with all the
rightful limits it has, it seems it can draw a rotated map
with few changes.

I'm attaching a sample of the usual topp:states with a random
rotation. Notice how the map is rotated whilst the labels
remain horizontal (it's a feature, not a bug).
(oh, the quality is just so so because antialiasing is not
 enabled)

If you want to try it out using the zoom pane attached
to the jira and the use ctrl-left, ctrl-right to rotate
the map.

Wondering.. are the new shiny map panes going to pick up
this?

Cheers
Andrea
