Okay let me try this again; it seems that there is a fair amount of development slated for the 2.7 series that I was not aware of; and a release candidate is premature. I would still like to tag up a milestone release at this time.
As such can I request a 2.7-M2 release. It will probably take me some days to go through the entire release cycle, and help is always welcome.
