While I am keen on the developments; it is really killing me not having a 
roadmap.
Hopefully we can be a bit more coordinated/collaborative on that front next 
year.

I will wait for Niels to get better; and then hopefully be able to work through 
the XPath changes (Ideally it would be suited for a 2.8.x branch as it is an 
api change that would impact our use of geoapi-pending)
