I've just built trunk using Java 6
java version "1.6.0_22"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.10.1) (6b22-1.10.1-0ubuntu1)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.0-b11, mixed mode)
Assuming there were no changes I needed to make other than in the top level
pom to force it to use 1.6 all the way through,
