I see you specified a revision of "aacb7f76b710fc44a2938a69b163dd717bc818ec" for the release job, which is a revision on the master branch, not the 8.x branch. The end result being a release branch the was actually merged with master. When I went to fix the scripts i just used the same revision. Anyways, we'll have to redo this one with the right revision. I'll also have to roll back the tag and merge that happened on the rel_8.x branch. Pegged 2.2.x to 1.3-RC4 and backported the needed fixes to geoserver. I'm waiting on the 2.2.x hudson build right now but it worked just fine on my dev box with an empty mvn repository. Fingers crossed nonetheless. Lets talk tomorrow (today?) Friday if there's anything else to do. I am trying to coordinate a GT(Geotools), GWC(GeoWebCache) and GS(GeoServer) release. Are there any volunteer(to use Justin awsome release script) for doing the geotools release? If not I can do it. So will this release be official 8.0 release or should we push for another RC?
