It is pretty easy to set up maps with built-in proximity search using
BigTribe's Geohana. You upload points of interest, and then you can
set up Javascript triggers to show images, play voice stuff (like you
have), and syndicate POI-specific content based on the location-ids
you uploaded.
Go to http://www.bigtribe.com. Register as a publisher then follow
the directions.
