You could give a try of our WorldFileTool: http://gis.hsr.ch/wiki/Worldfiletool

First start Google Earth and georeference your image as overlay.
After exporting as KML, start this tool which then rotates the image
to north (if needed)
and outputs a worldfile.

Any feedback is welcome but remind that it's beta!
