Hi Shannon,

Regarding climate anxiety, I used this piece to consider a view on the topic
that got my students thinking more critically about the idea:

"Climate Anxiety Is an Overwhelmingly White Phenomenon -- Is it really just
code for white people wishing to hold onto their way of life or to get "back to
normal?""

Subject: [gep-ed] Seeking eco-anxiety / climate resilience instructional
materials

Dear GEP colleagues,

I'm looking to put together a 2-credit toolkit course that addresses the topics
of eco-anxiety, doomism, and climate resilience in students at my university.
To that end, we have already conducted a literature review on eco-anxiety
research and surveyed books related to the issue and I'm currently working with
a team to collect survey data from students on their experiences with
eco-anxiety. In order to take effective next steps, I'm now looking for
practical applications for approaching these topics (which have been harder to
come by), so I wanted to ask if any colleagues have instructional resources
(i.e., sample syllabi, in-class exercises or assignments, best practices for
eco-anxiety education, etc.) you might share?

Thank you for your time!
