Oh, no!! One of my gerbils got out, and got attacked by my dog! He's
still alive, but he has some injuries. His breathing is very fast and
shallow, and he just lays curled up in a ball. I'm not sure that he's
eating OR drinking!
What can I do???

If you are not able to take him to the vet, keep him warm and give him
extra treats. We have had Gerbils survive cat attacks and other
accidents.
