Well.....I used to know the darn formula--it was so many teaspoons
per gallon of boiled water--but I've forgotten just how many teaspoons.
This is okay, however, because sterile isotonic saline solution is cheap
and pleantiful at the drug store--saline solution for contact lens users!
Now you have to be sure that it is ONLY saline. The box will list the
ingredients, and there should only be saline and preservatives listed.
Also, it usually just says sterile saline solution on the package. This
works very well for wound irrigation.
