Hey, this just happened two weeks ago to one of my gerbils, except the gerbil
that this happened to is alone.  Yours might be allergic to the bedding, this
happened to my lil' Catnip twice until I changed her bedding to Aspen (it was
corncob at first) and then she stopped getting the bloody nose/eye thing.
